LFTP Team,
Ever since I discovered lftp for UNIX, it had made scripting much easier than using other alternate methods. Recently, we have encountered a lftp bug with the latest version [including all earlier versions] running on RedHat. I am not sure if its lftp or the readline causing the issue, I do not receive any errors nor did my network team see any network related issues.
* When downloading files, the content inside the file is being truncated, that is, lines are missing or incomplete, and zip files are corrupted.
As an alternate method, I used the regular UNIX SFTP to download without any issues. Shown below is the remote site directory listing:
