Hi all
I recently had trouble with some servers that had the passive port range
unlimited but connections limited by a firewall to a port range eg 50000-60000
problem is that lftp tries to connect to blocked ports anyway and that takes a
long time until it hits a working port. So maybe lftp could have a feature to
limit the pasv ports it tries, eg spam pasv until server responds with a port
in range, It could also have other uses for example when you are behind a fw
that limits connections to certain ports.
